You’ve probably worked out by now that I’m a bit of a lamp fan! I love soft lighting but I also appreciate a statement lamp that looks great even when it’s not switched on. Paola & Joy have done it again with their new Blake Table Lamp ($199) which comes in many colour combos, of which this (Azure Petal) is my favourite. The shade and base is covered in linen which makes for a really interesting and unique look. Although they first became known for their neutral lamps, I love the fun the brand is now having with colour too. I bought myself two of the Cora Lamps in lilac and pastel green last year. They’re perfect in my home and everyone comments on them.

Anything that helps us keep our plant babies thriving is a good thing in my book, and even better, all while looking good! Indoor Pot Supply Co. is a new Australian family business dedicated to producing high-quality indoor pots which combine practical function with stylish design.

Their good-looking range takes the hassle out of indoor plant care and they aren’t your typical pots –they feature an internal rim and come with a powder coated steel smart ring. This allows the plant to remain in its plastic nursery pot, suspended by the smart ring. When watered, the water drains through the nursery pot into the bottom of the fibrestone pot which acts as a reservoir.

This setup is standard practice in the interior plantscaping industry (which is husband and wife duo Anna and Dave’s background) and one of the keys to healthy indoor plants. They’re sold in sets of three with free metro delivery Australia wide.

The new Linen House autumn/winter collection has already started dropping online and in stores and I have a couple of checkered favourites! The Clover cushions look (and no doubt feel) so cosy, and the Corinne quilt cover set in forest green is a fresh new take on checks which would be great for grown up and kid’s rooms alike!

This book’s been out a few months but I only just grabbed a copy after meeting its author, Lucy Gough, who works as a stylist for Home Beautiful, at an event recently. Not only is Lucy lovely and super talented (you won’t regret following her on insta!), her book, The Home Style Handbook, is fab! It’s exactly the kind of book I love, giving practical tips for anyone to add those finishing touches to their home to really elevate it. Published by Hachette and available at Kmart, Target, Amazon and all the usual places. You’ll be inspired to vignette up a storm before you know it!

Paying homage to the tactility and tonal profiles of the ancient craft of pottery is Austral Bricks’ latest range, Pottery Blend.
